Affected by the epidemic,online Chinese language teaching has become the main means of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the new teaching methods have also brought new problems to classroom management.In the process of teaching Spanish Chinese children online,the author was directly troubled by classroom problematic behavior.From a practical perspective,based on previous research,this article conducts a study of problematic behavior in online Chinese language classrooms,with Chinese Spanish children who participate in online courses at Spanish Western and Chinese Culture and Art Schools as the research objects.The research content mainly includes: 1.Problem behaviors frequently encountered by students in the classroom;2.The frequency of various problematic behaviors;3.The reason why the problematic behavior occurs;4.Measures taken by teachers when facing students’ problematic behaviors.Based on scholars’ viewpoints,the author defines classroom problematic behavior as a behavior in which students violate classroom rules,disrupt their own or others’ learning,affect teachers’ teaching effectiveness,and bring negative impacts to students and teachers.At the same time,the author uses classroom observation and interview methods as research methods,and classifies classroom problematic behaviors into three categories according to previous classifications: violating the work and rest system(being late,leaving early,leaving the seat and walking around randomly,leaving the classroom at will),concealing violations of discipline(being dazed and distracted,eating,watching TV,and turning off the camera),and disturbing behaviors(speaking casually,making noises,making requests,chatting with family members,and chatting in chat boxes).At the same time,combined with the cases recorded by the author’s classroom observation,in-depth analysis of the causes of students’ problematic behavior is conducted.Aiming at the causes of problematic behavior,the author puts forward his own suggestions mainly from two aspects: teachers’ classroom management ability and professional literacy,school class arrangements,selection of textbooks,and preparation of handouts.Based on the previous investigation and analysis,the main conclusions of this article are as follows: First,covert disciplinary violations occur most frequently,violations of work and rest system violations occur least,and disruptive behavior is in the middle;second,problem behaviors in online Chinese classroom are hidden and uncontrollable;third,the main causes of problematic behavior in online Chinese classroom are teachers,students,environment,and network devices.This study can enrich the research on online Chinese classroom behavior,and hopes to provide some ideas for future online Chinese teachers to solve classroom problem behaviors.
