Research On The Application Of Smbolic Language In The Creation Of Contemporary Chinese Woodblock Prints

With the development of the times,contemporary woodblock prints pay increasing attention to emotional expression and artistic expression,prompting the expressive language of printmaking to constantly innovate.In the creation of printmaking,symbolic language is increasingly valued,and printmakers use it to convey thoughts and emotions while constantly creating more distinctive symbolic language,which promotes the work to stand out in an environment with diversified concepts.This paper focuses on the study of symbolic language in contemporary Chinese woodblock prints,and firstly,briefly summarizes the concept of symbolic language,the classification of symbols and the development of symbolic language in contemporary woodblock prints.Secondly,the presentation of symbolic language in contemporary woodblock prints is reviewed,the form of symbolic language and the strengthening of symbolic language are analyzed by example,and the role of symbolic language is summarized.Thirdly,the expression of symbolic language in contemporary woodblock prints is discussed,and the personal symbols of many printmakers are analyzed and discussed,and then the practical significance of symbolic language in contemporary woodblock prints and the enlightenment brought by contemporary woodblock prints from the perspective of semiotics are expounded.Finally,the use and perception of symbolic language in the creation of personal woodblock prints are presented.It is hoped that by supplementing the symbolic research perspective of contemporary Chinese woodblock prints,it will provide new ideas for the creators of contemporary woodblock prints and provide the audience with a deeper art appreciation experience.
