Research On The Daily Life Narrative Of Disability Documentaries

In recent years,society has paid more and more attention to disabled people,and documentaries on the theme of disabled people have increased.As a better way to truly reflect the living conditions of disabled people,how can creators objectively and truthfully express their living conditions and the spirit of the times,and realize the documentary value of documentaries.This is something worth exploring in the creative process.This paper takes disabled people’s documentaries as the research object,takes the theory of daily narrative as the support,and combines the creative practice of the author’s graduation work Ye Hao’s Eighteenth Birthday and the textual analysis of related works to discuss the application strategy and value significance of daily narrative in documentaries on this theme.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the literature of predecessors,this paper discusses from three aspects: audiovisual language,narrative content and value significance of daily narrative.First of all,at the level of audiovisual language,it is necessary to return to documentary,use a heads-up perspective,truly record the daily life of characters,and enhance the expression of themes through montage processing of sound and painting language.Secondly,at the level of daily narrative content,the selection of characters needs to reflect the characteristics of the group,the selection of life scenes should present multiple dimensions,and the theme expression should be able to reveal internal contradictions.Finally,at the level of the value and significance of the daily narrative of the documentary,the daily narrative can well reveal the connotation of the times,excavate the simple beauty of life,and stimulate the empathy of the audience.
