Research On The Expression Of Artistic Language In Natural History Drawing

Natural history drawing is a unique art form of painting,which is based on natural science and records the rich species and habitats in nature.However,previous studies on natural history drawing paid too much attention to the historical background and the development of natural history,resulting in the failure to fully explore and develop the artistic value of natural history painting.This study aims to solve this problem through an in-depth interpretation of the artistic language expression of natural history drawing,expand the research perspective in the field of natural history drawing,and enrich people’s understanding of this art form.By studying the origin and development status of natural history drawing,as well as the characteristics and approaches of artistic language expression,it tries to reveal the practical value and application prospect of natural history drawing in the contemporary context.This article uses literature research,image analysis,comparative analysis and other methods to conduct research.It is found that the artistic language characteristics of natural history drawing include picture narrative,scientific accuracy,ethnic locality,and creative inheritance;the creative methods of natural history painting mainly include media Material,technique,modeling expression,color and emotion,and scene composition.In the contemporary context,the expression forms of natural history drawing art language are diverse,including the reflection of contemporary art and the enrichment of natural history drawing artistic language by comprehensive materials.Finally,combined with theoretical research,this paper applies the artistic language of natural history drawing to the practice of graduation design,and discusses its practical value and application prospects.
