A Study Of The Names Of People Seen In The Warring States Weapon Inscriptions

The Warring States period was another period of great change and turmoil in China’s history after the Spring and Autumn Period.The royal family of Zhou declined further,and wars between various countries were more frequent,and the scale and number of wars were even greater than before.The frequent wars first increased the number of weapons produced during this period,and then the weapon casting system was further developed and improved.Countries such as the Three Jin and Qin Dynasties developed the three-level and four-level supervision system of "Wu Le Gong Ming",which left us rich information on the names of the Warring States.This paper mainly focuses on the names of the people inscribed on the weapons inscriptions during the Warring States Period.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the significance and value of the research on the names of weapons,reviews the previous research on the inscriptions of weapons and their names,and excludes the "fake weapons" in a single list;The second part is the main part of the article,with Wu Zhenfeng’s "Shang and Zhou Bronze Inscription and Image Integration","Shang and Zhou Bronze Inscription and Image Integration Continuation" and "Shang and Zhou Bronze Inscription and Image Integration Three" as the main reference materials,and also includes the Warring States weapons information published by other materials,which divides the Warring States weapons into Jin,Qin,Yan,Qilu,Chu Wu Yue and his country have not specified seven parts to study his name.The study of his name mainly focuses on his glyph,and tries to give a reasonable interpretation on the basis of adopting various theories;For the names of people recorded in the historical records,the history reflected in the weapon inscription is linked with the historical records;The third part is a comprehensive study of the names of people on weapons in the Qin and San Jin dynasties.It mainly studies the surname situation and naming characteristics of the names of people on weapons in the Qin and San Jin dynasties,as well as some individual names and artisan groups in the Qin and San Jin dynasties.The fourth part is the appendix of the article,which arranges the names on the weapon inscriptions into a table for reference.
