The relationship between audience and performance has always been one of the core issues in drama research, and small theater space has played an important role in the transformation of the relationship between audience and performance. In the current era, small theater children’s dramas should also effectively explore the viewing relationship with children to enhance their audience’s experience and sense of harvest.Based on the small theater children’s drama "Adventures of the World under the Tree" produced by the author, starting from the spatial characteristics and special audiences of small theater children’s dramas, this article divides the discussion of the relationship between watching and acting into three dimensions:behavioral, psychological, and spatial, and explores the possibility of constructing the relationship between watching and acting in small theater children’s dramas in multiple dimensions. At the same time, from the perspective of the times, the construction of multiple viewing and performing relationships can,on the one hand, give greater play to the function of teaching and entertainment in drama art,and on the other hand,it is also a further exploration of viewing and performing relationships from a spatial perspective.
