The 5G era’s dawning and the widespread utilization of technologies like big data and cloud computing have caused China’s digital economy to expand,now comprising more than one-third of the nation’s GDP the digital cultural industry,a prototypical representation of the digital economy,is a critical factor in the prosperous growth of China’s economy.Nevertheless,the progress of China’s economy is currently being hindered digital cultural industry has entered a downward channel,the scale expansion stage has ended,and the number of Internet users has reached a relatively saturated state,relying on the Internet prosperity brought by the demographic dividend is about to change from incremental competition to stock competition,how to maintain the competitiveness of the digital culture industry has become a desktop problem.Therefore,by drawing This Michael Porter’s "diamond model" is investigated by paper to evaluate the six components that determine the international competitiveness of China’s digital cultural industry: production,demand,related and supporting industries,enterprise organization,strategy and competition,and government and opportunities...e Views10 was used to conduct empirical research on the international competitiveness of China’s cultural industry from 2008 to 2021 was impacted by various factors,as well as the competitiveness of China’s digital cultural industry.A comparison of the digital economy industry between China and the United States,a developed country where the digital cultural industry was at the forefront,was conducted through a unified classification caliber ranking the framework for measuring the digital industry competitiveness index was constructed,and the competitiveness of the digital industry of the two countries was compared and analyzed.Results of the analysis demonstrate that China’s digitally-powered hardware and software infrastructure industries,more competitive than those of the United States,still face difficulties such as the difficulty of swiftly catching up to the US in terms of production efficiency and the limitations on the long-term improvement of industrial competitiveness.The competitiveness of the digital cultural trading industry and digital cultural media industry in the United States is higher than that of China,but China relies on the huge consumer market and continuously improving digital infrastructure,and its industrial competitiveness has greater growth China should recognize the benefits of low cost,large scale,and the utilization of new technologies such as 5G in the production of digital cultural products,cultivate leading digital enterprises to foster the growth of digital transactions and digital media,be mindful of the potential for "stuck neck" of key core technologies,and continually enhance the international competitiveness of the digital industry.
