During the exploitation process of an oilfield, it is of great importance to make anaccurate estimate of the oil-saturation and distribution of the remaining oil, to figure out theremaining oil reserve and its quality, so as to further enhance the secondary, or even the thirdoil recovery. To tackle the low conformity problem in the interpretation of water-flood layersin the study survey area, this paper presents an in-depth investigation in the flood mechanismof the water-flood layers, in the identification of the water-flood layers, and in theinterpretation of the water-flood layers;based upon the investigation, a new scheme to studythe flood mechanism and the logging data interpretation of water-flood layers is proposed tointroduce the lithofacies analysis technology, non-linear theory (wavelet analysis), and fluiddynamics theory (analysis technology of priority movement of fluids) into the study. Majorconclusions have been listed as follows:1.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the well-logging and geological data well test, core data, dynamic and static data from the study area, the paper systematically studies thecharacteristics of reservoir parameters changes, and the well-logging responsecharacteristics of the reservoir during the flood process. The effects of different lithofaciescharacteristic on the computation of static and dynamic parameters of reservoirs are takeninto full consideration in the computation of lithofacies characteristic parameters of theflood layers with high water-content;the accuracy of computations of the static and dynamicparameters of the water-flood layers is further improved through the mutual corrections ofthe theoretical model and the test model.2.The lithofacies analysis technology–based laboratory study of flood mechanism ofthe water-flood layers is also conducted. In the residual-oil mechanism in the process ofwater flooding, under defferences reservoir conditions, according to seeping dynamic theory, the residual-oil forecast model has been taken in both water and oil balance. the logging dataof different exploitation stages,a comprehensive method is put forth to integrate multi-datainto the logging evaluation of the water-flood layers and the prediction of remaining oil.3.The application of non-linear theory (wavelet analysis) to the high-resolutionprocessing of the logging data is proved to be an effective measure for the inter-bedsdivision of the flood layer, and the detailed re-processing and evaluation of the vintagelogging data;this also contributes to the interpretation precision of the 6-level logging.4.Established synthesizes managing project, and improved the oil-field development result byapplying the fineness reservoir description result, result to increasing oil-field developmentThe application of this research to the Baolang Oilfield, Xinjinag proves successful, and paves the way for behind high water-flooding integrating modulate. At the same time, expert knowledge is programmed and applied to the remaining oil prediction study. And thesoftware speeds up the remaining oil characterization, minimizes the difference betweenusers of different levels and experience, and has a bright future of mass applications. bringin numerous benefits.
