Based on large amounts of cores, logging, and seismic data, by applying knowledge onsedimentology, sequence stratigraphy, key well investigation, multi-well evaluation, seismicinversion technique, 3-D probabilistic simulation, and in combination with actual exploration anddevelopment condition in oil field, the investigation on reservoir of torrent description andgeologic Model oil-bearing assemblage in the middle part of Wu 2 eastern block in Kelamayi OilField, mainly achieving the following results: it provides ensure for numerical modeling anddevelopment adjustment.(1) By applying advanced knowledge of reservoir description, this study starts with staticresearch, combining dynamic producing performance, describes structural feature;stratigraphicfeature, the investigation on reservoir of torrent description and geologic Model oil-bearingassemblage are described;the potential extended area and next step developing area are putforward;the technology and method on study reservoir of torrent is generalized.(2) Guided by high resolution sequence stratigraphy, based on regional sedimentary background,the location of sedimentary belt are described, oil layer subdivision and adjustment for target oilbearing area are conducted, and the oil layer correlation criteria are re-determined.(3) Based on core data, through detailed core observation and description, the sedimentarymicro-facies mode for different types of sand body are set up by combining with logging curvecharacteristics. Single well sedimentary micro-facies are analyzed according to electric loggingcurve characteristic, lithology, sedimentary texture, structure etc.(4) Combining with coring wells data, based core migration and standardization, the fourproperty relationships are analyzed by using key well investigation and multi-well evaluationtechniques, the logging interpretation model suitable for Wu 2 eastern block are re-set up, Aimed atearly stage reservoir description, the common electrical resistivity is used to interpret the physicalproperty parameter of oil layers, this logging interpretation method can be extended used.(5) Based on sedimentary micro-facies and multi-well logging interpretation, the tectonic model ,lithology model and attributes parameter model of this block is set up , 3-D geological model ofreservoir of torrent with grid number of as high as 8.60million is set up.(6) Seismic inversion and formation prediction are conducted by using seismic inversiontechniques, visualized formation characterization and prediction;geological reserve andrecoverable reserve are estimated by combining with main oil bearing area obtained from seismicinversion result;Oil block potential is analyzed,through comprehensive interpretation andevaluation to the development wells in Kexia formation, the oil layer development condition ismade known, re-perforation measures are provided, and the potential extended area and next stepdeveloping area are put forward.
