The genetic & framework classification of gentle slopes in continental faulted basin is submitted, in terms of tectonic patterns of gentle slope in the Jiyang Depression in this dissertation. The gentle slope is classified with single-faulted pattern and double-faulted pattern, in which the single-faulted one can be subdivided into slide gentle slope and faulted gentle slope, and the double-faulted one can be subdivided into half-graben gentle slope and horst-graben gentle slope.Tectonic-physical model experiments are undertaken with four profile section teams and two plane teams. The forming process of different types of gentle slope and the tectonic deformations in disparate parts of the same gentle slope are visualized. The modeling results manifest that the gentle slope is resulted from the faulting-tilting and faulting activities of different geological period, which is controlled by the basin boundary faults and later formed detachment faults.There is generally no hydrocarbon-generating capability on the gentle slope of continental faulted basin, the accumulated hydrocarbon is lateral migrated from source rocks in the subsags. High quality clastic reservoir and carbonatite reservoir, together with the stable regional seals, such as the lower and middle part of the third member of the Shahejie Formation, the first member of the Shahejie Formation, and the Minghuazhen Formation, constitute four source-reservoir-seal assemblages vertically in the gentle slope of the Jiyang depression. Traps are formed earlier than hydrocarbon migrations, reservoir-forming factors match well to favor hydrocarbon accumulation.Structural, lithological, stratigraphic, buried-hill and combined reservoirs exist on gentle slopes of the Jiyang depression. Nose belt, stratigraphic onlap-denudation belt, gradient break belt and buried-hill belt are important reservoirs assemble belts. There are different reservoir distributions in four types of gentle slope. More oil-bearing strata and trap types are developed, hydrocarbon is highly accumulated on faulted gentle slope and half-graben gentle slope.The exploration degree and resource potential are different in the four gentle slopes in the Jiyang depression, the western part of gentle slope in Dongying Sag, the middle of gentle slope in Zhanhua Sag, the eastern part of gentle slope in Huimin Sag...
