1.After making a summary of a great deal of basic data for water-deficient regions in thewest of Song-Liao Plain and a further survey, the condition of water deficiency in thestudy area has been found out and the type of water deficiency has been classified againaccording to reasons for water deficiency.2.Taking the main factor of regional groundwater control and distribution of the divid inthe region as well as the feature of hydrogeological structure etc. as the point ofdeparture, the groundwater system in the study area has been divided into two regionalsystems and seven subsystems. On this basis, some thorough research on the feature ofaquifer, chemical feature of water, the circulatory system as well as groundwaterdynamic type has been done.3.Based on a great deal of hydrogeological work, to start with the three types ofgroundwater in the area.
