Jiaoluotage ductile compressed zone is a part of Jiaoluotage Latitudinal tectonic belt which is a second order belt of Tianshan Latitudinal tectonic belt. It developed in Carboniferous volcanic and sedimentary formation between Tuha and Zhongtianshan Landmass. It is comprised of a set of upright penetrative foliations stricking EW. There developed many kinds ductile structural ele- ments, such as schistosity, stretching lineations, contemporary folds, boudingcs, pressure shad- ows, deformed pebbles, mortar structures, intragranular foliations, dislocation structures, and beltroporic fabrics of optic axis. All fabric of these ductile structural elements in different order and scale are symmetry while deformation zone and plane are considered as their symmetry plane. The ductile compressed zone can be transversally divided into three subzones, in which the distri- bution of deformation- metamorphyiam of rocks, stress- strain patterns and ore- formations are in transveral symmetry, "Cream cake" texture is the characteristic strain texture in the ductile compressed zones, which shows flattening is the deformation mechanism of Jiaoluotage ductile compressed zone, Jiaoluotage ductile compressed zone was formed by NS trending horizontal syn- taxial compression caussed by the interaction of Tuha Landmass in northern side and zhongtian- shan landmass in southern side, in major deformational stage in the formation and evolution pro- cess of Jiaoluotage Latitudinal tectonic belt between 255 Ma and 280 Ma in early Permian. The ductile compressed deformation is accompanied with ore—forming process of gold. Volcanic rock formation, ductil deformation zone, syntectonic granite and brittle tense- shear deformation zone are important geological conditions in ore—forming process, these four factors in one body is the ore—formation model for Kangguer gold orefleld.In addition, deformation tectonic systems and deformational stages of Jiaoluotage Latitudinal tectonic belt have been divide, and a new classification of clastic ductile dynmo—metamorphyic rocks has been proposed. The energy- consuming texture in ductile deofrmation process of Jiaoluotage Lithosphere system has been discussed. A new Flinn 's diagram of unequiaxial grains, which can be generally used in illustrating strain type of unequiaxial grains, has been set up here.
