This paper describes the main discoveries of carbonate rock exploration in abroad was found in 1950 to 1970, and there is still big discoveries recent. The resources of marine carbonate rock are rich, which mainly distributed in the Middle East, the former Soviet Union and the North America. These three oil-gas fields are accounted for 93.9% of recoverable oil and gas reserves, recoverable oil accounts for 94.6%, recoverable natural gas for 92.8%. But the reef flat reservoir in the carbonate rock reservoir forms a large proportion in the world's proven oil and gas reserves .Compared with the study level abroad, the study of China's organic reef flat reservoir starts late. With the foreign continuous discoveries of large organic reef flat oilfields, professor Huang Jiqing and others pointed out the importance of the exploration of organic reef in the 1950s,.This paper corrected the logging data, analyzed the sensitivity of the reservoir and the spectrum of the seismic data, and determined to use wells bound stacked seismic data inversion technology to carry out wave impedance inversion, which have got dolomite limestone data volume and delineated dolomite reservoir developmental belt .All of the above work were done on the basis of full collection and research in the geological, seismic, drilling, logging and well testing data in SYB area Also, .this paper determined a variety of sensitive attributes in the reef flat facies reservoirs by using seismic attribute analysis techniques .In order to attain the goal of oil and gas detection, this paper used pre-stack seismic data inversion technique that based on the Knott-Zoeppritz equation and its simplified form Aki-Richards equation, first Knott-Zoeppritz equation is deduced to determine its four forms and explained the relationship between them and their consistency in energy distribution , then spectrum analysis, amplitude , as well as the residual dynamic correction are carried out for the three pre-stack common angle gather data volume, and syblcl well s-wave curve fitting is done on the foundation of Kuster & Toksoz theory-based Xu White model ,then p-wave and s-wave joint pre-stack inversion technique is used to get a variety of attribute body that reflects gas reservoir developmental belt and delineate the gas reservoir developmental belt, finally, the actual thickness of the gas reservoir is calculated which provides a basis and gives the right way for the next phase of exploration and development.
