The process of interior ballistics has the characteristics of high temperature, high pressure, high velocity and transient chemical reaction. The numerical simulation of two-phase flow in guns is a very important research field in advanced interior ballistics. The study of new numerical method for two-phase flow in guns helps to develop the theory of interior ballistics. In this dissertation, according to the theory of conservation element and solution element (CE/SE) method, a new numerical method for two-phase flow in guns is raised. The method for calculating the two-phase flow is induced based on single phase flow. The main contents of this dissertation are as following:(1) The CE/SE method used for calculating the two-phase flow is induced according to the theory of flux conservation law, the courant number insensitive scheme(CNIS) method is induced and validated by the shock problem;(2) The one-dimensional CE/SE method is raised for the calculation of two-phase flow in igniter, the two-phase flow in igniter is simulated by this method, the results show that the CE/SE method has advantages in two-phase flow calculation;(3) The CE/SE method is induced for calculation of the two-phase flow in guns, the two-phase flow in guns ignited by center igniter tube and base igniting are calculated by the method, the numerical results compare well with the experiment data;(4) The two-dimensional inviscous CE/SE method is raised for calculating two-phase flow in guns. The axis asymmetrical two-phase flow in guns ignited by center igniter tube is calculated, the numerical results are compared with the experiment data, and the numerical results reflect the real process of interior ballistic, the process of igniting in gun is analyze in detail;(5) The two-dimensional viscous two-phase flow CE/SE method is raised. It is used to calculate the gas solid two-phase flow in guns. The unified inviscous and viscous wall boundary condition is given, the results can give us more information in guns;(6) For the two-phase turbulence mathematical model in guns, the gas phase uses the k-εtwo equations model to calculate the flow field in guns by two dimensional turbulent CE/SE method; and the turbulence phenomenon in guns is analyzed.
