The myriapoda fauna of China, one of the megadiversity countries in the world, is still poorly known. In particular, as regards the Lithobiomorpha, only 10 genera and 47 species have been recorded up to now, So it is very important to study the Lithobiomorpha fauna of China.The present paper deals with the taxonomy of Lithobiomorpha (Chilopoda: Pleurostigmophora) from China. Six parts are included:Part I introduces material and methods during the study. Partâ…¡deals with an brief introduction to the order, and its morphology, systematics and biology on the basis of the literatures on Lithobiomorpha. Part III is a detailed study of 83 species belonging 15 genera, among which 1 genus and 25 species are new to science and 3 new records, and a new discovery of the male from China. Descriptions, illustrations, specimens examined and geography data are given to each species the specimens were examined. Partâ…£listed all the literatures about Chinese Lithobiomorpha. Part V includes diagnostic characters and keys to subfamilies, genera, subgenera, species and subspecies of Lithobiomorpha known in China, and brief English descriptions of new taxa; Part VI contains morphological figures for each species based on the specimens examined.This paper including one new genus,25 new species,3 new recorded species and a new discovery of the male.
