Taxonomic Study On Lithobiomorpha From China (Myriapoda: Chilopoda)

The myriapoda fauna of China, one of the megadiversity countries in the world, is still poorly known. In particular, as regards the Lithobiomorpha, only 10 genera and 47 species have been recorded up to now, So it is very important to study the Lithobiomorpha fauna of China.The present paper deals with the taxonomy of Lithobiomorpha (Chilopoda: Pleurostigmophora) from China. Partâ…¡deals with an brief introduction to the order, and its morphology, systematics and biology on the basis of the literatures on Lithobiomorpha. Part III is a detailed study of 83 species belonging 15 genera, among which 1 genus and 25 species are new to science and 3 new records, and a new discovery of the male from China.
