Damage to buildings caused by coal mining not only relates to final value of surface movement and deformation, but also has close relationship with its dynamic procedure. Dynamic features of surface subsidence and deformation got through traditional surface observation station usually can not reflect accurately the complexity of this dynamic change. In this case, studying on the dynamic features of surface movement and deformation based on short time scale is of great significance. On the basic of experimental data acquired from digital industrial close-range photogrammetry system under minutely scale and its analysis, this paper studies on the dynamic features of surface movement and deformation under multiple time scale. In addition, the dynamic features of surface movement were also discussed according to the analysis of its transfer law in rock stratum and comparison between surface and roof. The main achievements include:(1) Reflecting the dynamic features of surface movement and deformation on 1 d time scale(2) Systematic evaluation index were then built and quantitative comparison analysis of surface movement and deformation between 1d and 15d time scale were made(3) Connections between final subsidence and jump strength of each point were acquired through the analysis of surface observation-line data on 1d time scale.(4) Reflecting the dynamic features of surface movement and deformation under minutely scale(5) Principal factors leading to the error in dynamic prediction of surface subsidence and deformation were discussed based on small time scale observation(6) Distribution characteristics of disparate rock stratum on different areas above mining goaf along one plumb line were got through comparison between dynamic movement and deformation of different rock stratum(7) State diagram which can describe clearly the dynamic rock movement was drawn and, compared with different movement situation between surface and roof, surface movement and deformation in 1d time scale was got.(8) Reasons which relate to jumping change of surface points were discussed through the comparison between surface movement diagram and dynamic curved line of different surface points. There are 78 diagrams, 59 charts and 150 reference papers in total.
