Electroforming, which possesses the merit of high manufacturing precision, is a manufacture technology that is based on the principle of the metal deposit. But it is impossible for the traditional electroforming to be widely used due to the long process time, the poor metal distribution which is often seen. Nano metal has special performance of mechanics and physics, but the making of Nano metal block is difficult, and it's making method is not perfect, so the study of Nano metal block is very difficult. Man pay more attention to rapid prototyping which is a new machining method, but to make metal accessory using rapid prototyping is very difficult, it restricts development of rapid prototyping. A new electroforming technique, numerical control jet electroforming, was proposed, it not only can solve some problem of tradition electroforming but also can make Nano metal block and metal accessory, and the elemental research on the new technique was carried out.On the foundation of manufacturing numerical control jet electroforming machine, In this thesis, for numerical control jet electroforming, the research presented creative and conclusion works as follows:1) Numerical control jet electroforming machine was built successfully.2) The theoretical analysis and experimental verification are also given in this thesis. Also, the theoretical model of this technique is performed in detail.3) Discusses the main reason that causing the defaults of electroforming and the principle and methods that can improve the qualities of electroforming products. Based on the results of the theoretical analysis, the paper proposes the scheme of numerical control selective jet electroforming.4) Doing prophase test for numerical control jet electroforming.5) Using successfully numerical control jet electroforming to make Nano copper which has very good mechanics character..6) First combining numerical control jet electroforming and tradition electroforming to make mould which has V trough., mending technic which using electroforming to make mould7) First combining numerical control jet electroforming and rapid prototyping, providing a new method to make metal accessory and Nano metal block.8) First analyse growth process of branch crystal in electroforming using SEM, and using fractal to explain growth process of branch crystal.
