The structure, properties and development of conducting polymers are reviewed in this dissertation. Conducting polymers with high infrared reflection used as saving energy materials is supposed for the first time. For the supposition, different molecular weight polyaniline and its derivatives and MEH-PPV are prepared. Three kinds of polyanilines derivatives and six kinds of copolymers of aniline and its derivatives are designed and prepared.The quantitative relations among main parameters of conducting polymer film with substrate are given. Anew measurement method of the extinction coefficient and the thickness of the conducting polymers is also established.The infrared reflective behavior of the polyanilines doped with different proportion of camphor sulphonic acid, and the polyanilines doped with different kinds of organic sulphonic acid in same mole, and MEH-PPV doped with li are researched. A infrared reflective behavior of conducting polymers with different structure and a infrared reflective behavior of the films prepared in different temperature are researched. The obtained results and their influences are discussed. The mechanism of conducting polymers used as saving energy materials is explained. The infrared reflective properties of the testing samples and similar inorganic goods are compared. The results show that the supposition of conducting polymer used as saving energy materials are feasible and productive.
