The synthesis and relative properties of metal complexes are focus in the fields of coordination chemistry. In order to further enrich and extend the studies on metal complexes, the thermal stability, thermal decomposition mechanism and non-isothermal reaction kinetic metal complexes have been studied systematically in this dissertation.A total of fifteen metal complexes have been synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, molar conductance analysis, IR, electronic spectra, EDS, X-ray powder diffraction analysis and TG-DTA analysis. It was first suggested that mechanisms of thermal decomposition of mononuclear complexes. On the basis of the results obtained from theoretical analysis, the kinetic equation for the mononuclear complexes were suggested, and explain their coordination environment from thermal decomposition kinetics. It was first suggested that mechanisms of thermal decomposition of polynuclear complexes. On the basis of the results obtained from theoretical analysis, the kinetic equation for the polynuclear complexes were suggested, and explain coordination environment from thermal decomposition kinetics.Chmistry of hydrated borates has been studied for many years. But there aremany fields being of challenge and to be left for studying. A total of thirteen hydrated borates have been synthesized and characterized by means of conventional analysis, X-ray powder diffraction analysis, FT-IR, Raman spectrum, and TG-DTA analysis. Every compound was recorded and reexamined. The probable assignment of vibration spectra of monoborates, triborates, tetraborates, pentaborates, and hexaborates were given. In order to further enrich the studies on hydrated borate, the thermal stability, the thermal dehydrate mechanism and non-isothermal reaction kinetic have been studied systematically in this dissertation. The kinetic equation for hydrated borate was suggested.
