In this thesis, a series of novel transition metal complexes with tricyanomethanideanion (tcm), dicyanamide anion (dca) or tetrazolate anion ligands have been preparedand characterized by x-ray crystallography, spectroscopy and magnetism. The thesisconsists of following six parts: In the first chapter, the background of this research is given. As unique bridgingligands tcm and dca have been used to construct polymeric transition metalcoordination compounds with interesting structures and physical especially themagnetic properties. The coordination mode of tcm or dca, the structural characteristicsas well as the magnetic properties of tcm or dca complexes in literature are brieflydiscussed. In the second chapter, we describe the preparation and the characteristics, byx-ray crystallography, IR, UV/Vis and magnetism for the new transition metal-tcmcomplexes with heterocycles containing-N atom as coligands. They showed 1D doublechains structure, which forming 2D or 3D structure by H-bond or weak interaction. One of them showed unique ferromagnetic property. In the third chapter, tcm-metal complexes with polyamine as coligand have beensynthesized and charactered by x-ray crystallography, IR, UV/Vis and magnetism. Thecoordination polymers showed single chain or ladder structures. They also showedferromagnetic property. In the forth chapter, the dca-metal complexes with heterocycles or polyamines ascoligand have been synthesized and charactered by x-ray crystallography, IR, UV/Vis.They showed different structures comparing with literature. In the fifth chapter, the dinuclear structures of Cu-complexes were described, inwhich two Cu atoms were bridged by two 5-phenyltetrazolate ligands. They were the v复旦大学博士学位论文first reported copper(II) tetrazolate complexes with tetrazolate as bridging ligand. In the sixth chapter, unexpected compound Cu(OC6H4CH:NH)2 was obtained fromthe reaction of N,N'-bis(2-hydroxybenzylidene)arymethanediamine, sodium azide andcopper (II) acetate, indicating the N,N'-bis(2-hydroxybenzylidene)arymethanediamineis easily hydrolyzed in the reaction conditions. Moreover, the investigation resultdemonstrated that zinc (II) cyanate complex may be partly hydrolyzed to giveZn5(NCO)2(μ2-OH)4(μ3-OH)4·H2O.
