This dissertation consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, the organic reactions promoted by samarium reagents are reviewed. The second chapter makes a detailed study of the reactions of thioamides promoted by Samarium/samarium diiodide. The third chapter is focused on the self-coupling of thioamides promoted by samarium/titanium tetrachloride. The content of the last chapter is on the experimental operations.Chapter one introduces the organic reactions promoted by the usual types of samarium reagents, which include samarium diiodide, metallic samarium/auxiliary reagents. In Chapter two, versatile reactions of thioamides promoted by the samarium/samarium diiodide mixed reagent are described. The content mainly includes four parts: 1. Promoted by the samarium/samarium diiodide mixed reagent, vic-diaminoalkenes via the dethiolative coupling of thioamides are synthesized. 2. Promoted by the samarium/samarium diiodide mixed reagent, the cross-coupling of thioamides and diarylketones, which provides enamines, is studied. 3. Promoted by the samarium/samarium diiodide mixed reagent, the stereospecific aminopropanation via the addition of styrene with the samarium a -aminocarbenoids generated in the dethiolations of thioamides is performed. 4. Promoted by the samarium/samarium diiodide mixed reagent, synthesis of 3-aminopropynes via the terminal C-H insertion of phenylacetylene with the samarium a -aminocarbenoids generated in the dethiolations of thioamides is accomplished. In Chapter three, the dethiolative coupling of thioamides promoted by the samarium/titanium tetrachloride mixed reagent is explored. The reaction conditions are optimized and the products, vic-diaminoalkenes, are obtained in good yields.Chapter four describes the experimental operations .The remarkable advantages of the reactions mentioned above are mild, neutralreaction conditions, simple operation, and effectiveness. All the compounds were characterized with IR, NMR, MS, and elemental analysis.
