The principles and characteristics of 8 kinds of large scale 3D coordinatemeasurement system are summarized according to the currents of modern measurementtechnologies. A series of research is carried out on the key technologies of digital closerange industrial photogrammetry, such as the basic measurement theory, center subpixellocalization of circular retro-reflective targets calibration of digital camera, automaticimage points' match and optimization of measurement networks. This dissertation's mainwork is as following:1. The technologies of different large scale measurement systems are discussed. Thedevelopment of digital close range photogrammetry and it's relation with computervision are analyzed.2. The basic theory of digital close range photogrammetry is deduced from the point ofprojective geometry. The single camera geomotry, the geometry of two cameras andmultistation convergent geometry are analyzed detailedly. A new method ofcoordinates acquisition using one single camera station is put forward. The theory ofsimplified solution of normal equation is proved strictly.3. The principle of retro-reflective material is researched. The circular retro-reflectivetargets are produced. The center localization reaches 0.02 pixels by the ellipse bestfitof subpixel edge image poins.4. The 10-parameters model is used to compensate the systematic errors of digitalcamera. The calibration methods of test range and self-calibration are researched. Aserials of calibration tests of common and special camera are carried out. A moreaccurate result is gotten by the self-calibration.5. The principle of coded targets is researched. One type coded targets are produced anddecoded successfully. The full automatic RRTs match is achieved by the epipolar linerestriction condition.6. The impact to accuracy of network geometry is analyzed. Then the rules of design ofmeasurement network are put forward. The practical results demonstrate that theaccuracy is affected greatly by the network geometry.7. The technology of digital close range photogrammetry is applied successfully inseveral practical large scale measurement engineering, such as large antenna mouldinspection, satellite's antenna surface measurement and dynamatic measurement ofInSAR baseline.
