In this dissertation, a series of ultra-thin films based on photosensitive diazoresin were fabricated through layer-by-layer self-assembly technique, and the films could be attached by covalent bond after the decomposition of diazonium group between layers under UV irradiation. Through the functionalization of the self-assembly film, we got the results listing as follows:1. Two phenolic hydroxyl containing polymer were synthesized and self-assembled into ultra-thin films with diazoresin for the first time through H-bond attraction. After UV irradiation and the decomposition of diazonium group, the films'linkage between layers was converted to covalent bond and the stability of the films was improved greatly. The H-bonding attraction usage expands the scope of the assembly technique because it is possible to fabricate the ultrathin films in organic solvents.2. Two water-soluble C60 derivatives, C60(OH)n and C63(COOH)6, were synthesized and used firstly to self-assemble into ultra-thin films with diazoresin. The films became very stable after UV irradiation. The nanotribology properties of C60 derivatives containing films were measured using AFM/FFM, and the results showed that C60 molecules exhibit good load-bearing characteristic. After incorporation of poly(acrylic acid) molecules the C60 containing film, the film possesses not only good anti-wear but also good lubricative properties.3. Two conducting polymers, carboxyl containing polyaniline and sulfonated polyaniline, were synthesized and were used firstly to self-assemble into ultra-thin films with diazoresin using layer-by-layer technique. After UV irradiation and the decomposition of diazium group, the linage of the films will be converted from ionic bond to covalent bond, result in the films could resist the etching of polar solvents and strong electrolyte. The photoelectric conversion properties of the polyaniline containing films have been measured in conventional three-electrode photoelectrochemistry cell, using 0.5 M KCl solution as supporting electrolyte, and the results showed that polyaniline containing films have good photovoltaic...
