The misciblity is an important basis to choose a suitable blending method for polymer blends and it is also the key factor to control the polymer blends' morphology and properties. Due to the complexity of polymer blends, it is very difficult to determine the phase diagram of binary polymer alloys and find out a theoretical method to predict it.The structure of polymer blend relates to not only the characteristics of its components, but also its morphological structure. The relationship between polymer blend's composition and its properties has so far only been described qualitatively or semi-quantitatively because the complexity of structure and characteristics of the polymer blends. In present study, the phase separation in equilibrium state and the relationship between rheological, mechanical property and composition in irreversible change nonequilibrium state of polymer blends have been discussed with nonlinear sub-cluster statistical theory. The model of nonlinear sub-cluster statistical theory of binary polymer alloys has been established, and the equation of nonlinear sub-cluster statistical theory of binary polymer alloys used in the condition of equilibrium state and nonequilibrium state has been obtained. The equation has been applied to a lot of blending systems and the results of estimation are satisfactory. It is the first time in our study to predict the phase diagram of binary polymer alloys with nonlinear sub-cluster statistical theory. On the theoretical and practical basis the phase diagrams of binary polymer alloys have been classified as LLL, LLS, LSL, SLL, SSL, SLS, LSS and SSS. The reason for classification has been given in detail. Many experimental phase diagrams of binary polymer alloys have been simulated by the equation and the simulated curves identified with...
