On the basis of the studying high temperature proton conductor for its preparation, construction and performance, a novel high temperature electrochemical sensor was developed, applying to measuring hydrogen in molten aluminum.In this paper, the high temperature proton conductor was prepared by various synthetic methods such as high temperature solid-state reaction, sol-gel and combustion. Particularly, the sol-gel method, combining with pretreatment of microwave, eliminated the agglomeration of nano particle effectively, so that the average diameter of particle was 65nm.By this method, the sintering performance was improved, with the calcining temperature decreased about 200~300℃ comparing with that of high temperature solid-state reaction, and the relative theoretical density was higher than 96%. In the meantime, Fisher pattern recognition method was utilized for the optimization classification and prediction of calcining technique.The factors like temperature, kinds and content of adulterant, in SrCeO3 basis high temperature proton conductor preparation whose construction and performance was influenced, were studied.By utilizing Ultraviolet Visible spectroscope, Infrared and Raman spectroscope, the influences of kinds and content of adulterant, calcining technique and different atmosphere on the construction and performance of the SrCeO3 basis proton conductor was also studied.
