Energy and environmental protection are the main factor to the development of culture and human history. In the past decades, the destruction of ozone layer outside the atmosphere and global green house became more and more bad as the development of the traditional industry. Dimethyl Ether(DME) as an ideal substitution for Freon which is biggest destroyer to the ozone layer has been paid more attentions to. There are also a lot of reports on the conversion and utilization of CO2 which is taken to be the most important green gas.The development of the catalyst for direct DME synthesis from synthesis and its industrialization is the first part of this dissertation. A new catalyst system of Cu-Mn-(M)Ox/γ-Al2O3 prepared by simple impregnation method was developed. By using this catalyst, the plot plant experiment and industrialization experiment was carried out in this dissertation. The result of these experiments showed:1. The new catalyst system of Cu-Mn-(M)Ox/γ-Al2O3 developed in this dissertation was prepared by simple impregnation method. This catalyst and preparation method has broken the traditional thought that the DME synthesis catalyst can only be prepared by mixing the commercial methanol synthesis catalyst with solid-acid dehydrate catalyst such as y-Al2O3 or zeolite. On the Cu-Mn(M)Ox/γ-Al2O3 catalyst, the synthesis reaction can be carried out at lower pressure, high CO conversion and high selectivity of DME compared with the commercial dual catalyst. While n(Cu)/n(Mn)=1:2, the conversion of CO reached to 65.%, and the selectivity of DME great then 70% at 2.0MPa, 275℃,1500h-1. At the same time the thermal stability and life span are good enough for industrialization.
