Dimethylaminomethylferrocene was lithiated to the monolithio-compound(l), which was then reacted with an eqimolar chlorotribenzyltin to form 2-(tribenzyltin) methylaminomethylferrocene(I).When 1 was condensed with half-molar dichlorodi-benzyltin,bis(2-dime'thylaminomethyl-ferrocenyl)dibenzyltin(II) was obtained. After 1 was allowed to react with trimethylchlorosilicane,TMEDA and two molar BuLi were added to the reacted solution to react for a few hours,and then condensed with double molar diphenylchloroarsine to give 2-(trimethylsilyl)-5,1'-bis(diphenylarsino)dimeth-ylaminomethylferrocene(VI).Monolithiated 2-(diphenylarsino)dimethylaminomethylferrocene was reacted with diphenylchloroarsine, trimethylchlorosilicane., chlorotribenzyltin to form 2,5-bis(di-phenylarsino)dimethylaminomethylferrocene(III),5-(trimethylsilyl)-2-(diphenylarsi— no)dimethylaminomethylferrocene(V),5-(tribenzyltin)-2-(diphenylarsino)dimethyl-aminomethylferrocene(IX);and reacted with half-molar dimethyldichlorosilicane,di-chlorodibutyltin to produce bis(2-dimethylaminomethyl-3-diphenylarsinoferrocenyl) dimethylsilicane(VIII),bis(2-dimethylaminomethyl-3-diphenylarsinoferrocenyl)dibut-yltin(X). 5,1 '-Dilithiated 2-(diphenylarsino)dimethylaminomethylferrocene was condensed with diphenylchloroarsine,trimethylchlorosilicane to give 2,5,l'-tri(diphenyl-arsino)dimethylaminomethylferrocene(IV) and 5,1 '-di(trimethylsilyl)-2-(diphenylar-sino)dimethylaminomethylferrocene(VII).In this work,the catalytic addition reaction of aromatic C-H bonds to olefins with the aid of RuH2(CO)(PPh3)3 was studied.In the presence of the complexes,vinyl-ferrocene was reacted with PhCOCH3,p-MeOC6H4COCH3,p-ClC6H4COCH3 to form a...
