Mining hazards have large influence on the environment, life and property inmining areas. Based on different mining hazards, safety monitoring systems, which isused to evaluate the safety status of the mine, is established, and the correspondingcontrol measures are put forward.During the transition process from open pit to underground mining of the metalmine, there are two kinds of safety problems. One is the stability of the open-pit slopeand the other is the safety of the underground tunnel. The deformation mechanism ofthe open-cut slope and underground tunnel are generalized and hazards monitoringsystem is also established. It is founded that backfilling rock has improved thestability of open pit slope and underground tunnel. Grey prediction model anddeformation criterion of the tunnel are obtained according to the tunnel deformationmonitoring data and four sites with potential dangers have been successfullycontrolled. The gobs are the hazardous sources of roof falling hazards at gypsum mines. Thefinite differential software FLAC3D is applied to analyze the stress state and failuretype of roof and floor and surface subsidence status. Cable remote monitoring systemcombined with common monitoring method will be used in the process of gobtransaction. This will offer the scientific guidance to safety production of the mine.Mining landslide, which induced by underground coal mining, is a peculiarhazard in combination of open pit and underground mining. Based on the fieldmonitoring especially dynamic observation with GPS, the thesis presents the law ofsurface subsidence movement and development in B900 working face during the coalbeing extracted generally. It is including the scope of slope surface subsidence, themaximal subsidence value and major failure type of the slope. According to aneffective pitching method called waste dumping to cover slope, compared to thetraditional means named crest cutting to caver toe, the former can make full use of thestripping rock to cover the entire slope. The method gives new slope governmenttechnology measure for combination of underground and open-pit mining.
