The control of coal dust pollution area is investigated by laser measurement and electrostatic precipitator(ESP) technology. In the regional pollution of Car-dumper Shed, the method of air blowing-breathing system adding a guide plate for collection coal dust,and the intelligent control system of ESP based on laser measurement are designed. This system has been used in the Car-dumper Shed of QingHuangDao harbor and it is proved that the system has the ability of real-time character, strong anti-interference and high efficiency of collection.The main research results and innovation are listed as follows:1,The measuring methods of various dust concentration and particle size are analyzed, then the online measurement method by laser technique is used. As for high concentration dust in pipeline, the measurement method of bypass educe stream is proposed. All sorts of airflow movement in pipeline are simulated by Fluent soft, therefore, the feasibility of bypass measure system is proved. The problem of polluted laser lens is solved by the airblow system.2,The characteristics of theâ…¤-â… , ion wind velocity and ion concentration are analyzed by the combined experimentatal results and theoretical ones in the complex environment of discharge system. The empirical formula of ESP in the wire-plate configuration is obtained. The analysis method to determine ESP running state based on the effect of dust collection is proposed. The incept voltage of ESP running is determined. The incomplete charged particles can be agglomerated very easily in the same electrode discharge system, furthermore, the incept voltage of agglomeration has been given. Collection effect of charged particles with different size has been controled by different voltage. In this way, the range of some running parameters of ESP is given.3,In Car-dumper Shed, the fly ash dynamics is analyzed and the spatial-temporal distribution and particles size distribution is investigated. The research of the paper is actualized in this polluted area. The effects of all sorts of collection shade are analyzed, the proposed method of collecting dust changes the fly ash from the disordered state to ordered movement. Accordingly, this method reduces the operating cost of pollution control.4,As for the burning and explosion characteristics of coal dust, the soft-starting of high voltage power supply with constant current is designed. By using software, the influence of noise signal is reduced in the study of measuring the dust concentration and particle size. Consequently, the running stability of ESP control system is increased in the environment of strong noise and perturbation.
