Diamond has many remarkable properties, and it has been widely used in many fields. Especially gem-diamond, as an ultimate functional material, it is indispensable for high-tech developments. At abroad, the large-diamond synthetic techniques are increasingly perfect, and the tendency of research in this field is to make maximum and unlimited use of the outstanding properties of diamond, including entering the gem markets. While at present, due to its great commercial value, the information concerning diamond's synthetic techniques has always been kept secret. It is significant for china that we have held the high-level technology of large diamonds.The diamond crystal, with 5.0 mm in size, has been synthesized by our group in 2004, but the distance between our country and overseas advanced country are very big in the synthesis technology. For exemple, crytal size, growth speed, and so on. Possessing the synthesis technology of the high quality Ib-type diamond crystal and boron doped diamond crystal in carats grade, which will reduce the gap between our country and advanced country in the synthesis technology, can improve our synthesis technology of man-made diamond single crystal.
