Mining depth and unconsolidated layers play the important role in affecting mining subsidence and movement law. Surface subsidence and movement law caused by deep mining under thick unconsolidated layers is different from under normal conditions'. By analyzing existing theory and surface movement measured data of deep mining and thick unconsolidated layers mine, static and dynamic surface movement and deformation distribution law and surface movement parameters due to deep mining under thick unconsolidated layers were obtained, compared with conventional surface subsidence law. Using similar simulation experiment, overlying bedrock and unconsolidated layers failure law reduced by mining under deep and thick unconsolidated layers were studied, the internal law of unconsolidated layers was reached, and the difference of bedrock movement basin and surface movement basin was compared and analyzed. Failure field, stress field and displacement field of overlying bedrock and unconsolidated layers were studied by using 2D-block, and displacement law of unconsolidated layers reduced by mining was reached out. The relationships of surface subsidence and different thickness of unconsolidated layers and bedrock were studied, and the consolidated layers in the role of surface subsidence, and the coupling relationship of the unconsolidated layers and bedrock, were revealed by using Flac3D. The research results were applied to field example.
