The stage of conceptual design is an important stage in designing the body structure of automotives which ensures the properties of the structure, as the defects formed in this stage could not be offset in the afterward designing. This paper firstly makes a comprehensive analysis of CAE intelligence technology, and then proposes an approach which "bases on CAE intelligence technology used in the conceptual designing of automotive body structure". In addition, a number of key technologies by employing this method are studied and experimented. The technology provides a designing platform for making body theory of finite element modeling and structural changes more "intelligent" and makes it possible to efficiently produce seamless connectivity products with complex knowledge representation and engineering design data management. Meanwhile, this paper succeeds in setting up the intelligent structural conceptual designing platform of automotives'body-making, (CVD-ICAE for short) and rapid modeling of modal parameters relating with body intensity, stiffness and low level modal frequency analysis.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the body structure designing in the stage of conceptual designing, this paper proposes the theories and approaches concerning CAE technology, realizes the concept of body structure design for the whole process of "analysis-driven design" technology, and describes the main structure and general functions of the system and introduces a template for rapid establishment of the body geometry. Through the study of solder joint simulation of body form and manner, conceptual modeling and the conceptual designing of the body structure prediction and evaluation of performance are made possible. To suit the needs of the automobile industry, COM component based on the body of beam cross section database was proposed and implemented. It not only supports the concept of modeling the body and can be used independently to store design information in the previous section, but balso supports the beam cross-section shape optimization to help designers design the optimal cross-section shape. Thesis in the conceptual design phase of joint body model realization method is proposed and implemented. Also, a joint definition of the parameters and intelligent forecasts of the specific methods are made to improve conceptual design of the body structure of the model accuracy. Joint body set up examples of library modules for the body structure of the joint conceptual design system and analysis. In CVD-ICAE system of implementation based on the body stiffness and modal operating conditions, multi-objective optimization algorithm, developed the corresponding software module. A detailed analysis of a specific vehicle model and CVD-ICAE system concept of the model results contrast, the CVD-ICAE verify the correctness and effectiveness. Finally the paper, through a detailed analysis of a specific model and CVD-ICAE concept model, the CVD-ICAE verify the correctness and effectiveness.
