Separating-planting mechanism is the kernel operating part of rice transplanter, and the performance of it directly decides the whole level of transplanter. All kinds of high-performance rice transplanters are sold in the market. Their key part, rotative separating-planting mechanism, is separating-planting mechanism with eccentric gears or with elliptic gears designed by Japanese. The two kinds of sepatating-planting mechanism were applied for patent. A new type of separating-planting mechanism must be developed in order that high performance transplanter can be produced domestically. And that will greatly improve the degree of mechanization of rice planting.This thesis deeply researches on the high-performance separating-planting mechanism with planetary gears of non-eccentricity, and according as mechanics principle the whole process of calculation, analysis, simulation and design is studied and developed in aspects of both theory and application using the technique of CAA and CAD. The mathematical models of kinematics and dynamics of this mechanism are presented. On the basis of this, the computer-aided analysis system of separating-planting mechanism is developed. This study is the part of the item of National Natural Science Fund?Study on the Mechanism and Frame Parameter of High-Speed Separating-planting", and also is the part of key project item of Zhejiang province-"Study on High-speed Rice Transplanter and Deep Fertilization Combined Machinery". The theoretical basis, the drawing of mechanical design and the utility software of the new high-performance separating-planting mechanism are offered by the research effort of this topic. The new operating part has several advantages compared with existing mechanism such as more convenient machining performance, simple structure, good credibility and advanced structural performance which reaches the advanced world standard. And moreover, the studying contents of separating-planting mechanism in our country would reach advanced level of the world. All of these have great meaning for the development of national economy and the enhancement of agricultural modernization level in our country.The thesis analyzes the operating mechanism and the kinematics characteristic of separating-planting mechanism with crank-rocker unit which is in common use in our country and high performance rotative separating-planting mechanism of Japan. On basis of this, it points out that nonuniform ratio transmission that exploiting eccentric gear or elliptical gear is the technique kernel of rotative separating-planting mechanism. A new type of high performance separating-planting mechanism with planetary gears of non-eccentricity is firstly118presented which has been approved for patent of utility model. The patent number is 98245494.5. The research content of this paper is as following:(1) Operational principle of separating-planting mechanism with planetary gears of non-eccentricity is presented. According to the transmission ratio function derivated from the transmission relationship of angle displacement of separating-planting mechanism with planetary gears of elliptic, the relation of rotation angle of planting can be met by changing the eccentricity of elliptic gears properly. Therefore separating-planting mechanism with planetary gears of non-eccentricity is brought forward, whose planetary gears are composed by cylindrical gears, and the nonuniform ratio transmission is accomplished by single-stage transmission of elliptic gears. It's operating principle is similar to separating-planting mechanism with planetary gears of elliptic, whose two elliptic gears are instead by four cylindrical gears in structure. The configuration parameter is optimized and the working tracks adapted to the north and the south are found out.(2) The computer-aided analyzing system of sepatating-planting mechanism is developed.
