Turbo-Diesel Engine is the milestone in the Internal combustion engine's development. The technique of turbo gives a great help of its dynamics, economics, and low emissions. And now the turbo-Diesel Engine is becoming the main style of diesel engine. The diesel engine has advantage of economics, torque, and lower revolution at the max-torque point and lower hydrocarbon (HC) and mono-carbon oxide (CO) emissions over the gasoline engine. As the Emission Regulation is becoming more and more stringently, whether can diesel engine reduce the NOx and Particle Matter (PM) efficiently or not is the key of its development in the future. This dissertation investigates it on the basis of a host of reference, and combines the real situation of the subject with abroad and deep theory as a break point, and at the same time with the experiments is its important method.Main works are as following:1. To have a 3-D simulation of the CC490ZQ revolve intake port under the turbo operating conditions, as the intake air is one of the most important factors that influence the performance of the engine directly. Using the laser coordinator to get the coordinate of original intake port, generating the coordinate clouds in computer, and then using the Ideas software to generate four-order continuum free bend faces that is the entity model of the intake port;2. Using the Nport to generate the grid of the intake port entity model, and setup RNG k - model to calculate the 3-D flow of this model with Star-CD software, and at the same time test the original intake port under the steady state;3. In order to check whether the spray and chamber match or not, with AVL-513 Engine Video System to observe directly such spray, ignition, combustion phenomenon etc. in-cylinder under the real operating conditions. At the same time we may observe the distribution and dispersion of flame in cylinder resulting from the air motion. This may be the most direct method to open out the internal relationship among the flow, ignition and combustion.4. According to the peculiarity of DI diesel engine, improving the original Curl collision -re-dispersion model with the help of a host of reference, and on the base of test and simulation of 3-D intake port to set up a stochastic model of DI diesel engine in order to predict its performance and emissions. And this model will give the new foreground for investigation the spray and combustion of DI diesel engine.5. In order to compare the results with the model, the 13 status, performance andcombustion in cylinder of CC490ZQ have been tested with AVL-puma 5.5 test bench, AVL-CEB220 combustion analyzer, AVL-472smart sample PC PM collector and AVL-670 indimaster in cylinder combustion analyzer.Main peculiarity and innovative points:To investigate the CC490ZQ diesel engine's intake, spray and combustion by using the advanced method and equipments in order to instruct the real work.1. Most of present study of 3-D revolve intake is mainly on the self-intake state. That is to study the air flow in different valve lift, but there is no relative report on the turbo operating conditions in our country.2. During the steady state of intake test, when intake pressure is over about 20.4Kpa, the vacuum pump doesn't work properly, because this pressure is over the normal range of it, but the turbo diesel engine's operating conditions are larger than that of it. So we use the 3-D calculation results instead of test for the next calculation.3. Finished the video test on the multi-cylinder of turbo DI diesel engine firstly. Until now, there are no such reports on it of multi-cylinder DI diesel engine in our country. There is only such report on the IDI diesel engine by foreign countries according to my materials.4. Firstly finished the improved Curl model and combined with the turbulent model to set up a spray and combustive stochastic model of DI diesel engine, using Monte Carlo method to simulate it.
