In order to adapt the storage technology of postharvest under the present situation of the agriculture productive model and reduce the waste and loss of the vegetable and fruit, the relationship between heat transfer and mass transfer in sub-systems in the mini-cold storage is analyzed in details, and a perfect construction system is set up for mini-cold storage. All these works provide a theoretical base for the popularization and the use of mini-cold storage. The main results and conclusions having relations to thermodynamics, heat transfer, hydromechanics, material science, bromatology and biology are summarized as follows:Based on the study of the exterior-protect construction, the coefficient of shape is defined. It can specify the structure of mini-cold storage and be benefit to the energy saving of mini-cold storage. Under the conception of the best economical efficiency during the serving life, the calculation equation of the economical thermoresistance thickness is derived. The model of cooling time of the empty storage is set up, and different factors affecting cooling time are discussed. All the works provide the guidelines for building mini-cold storage, and prepare the theoretical base for the quickly popularization of mini-cold storage. The conception of the mobil storage is pointed out and the main designed gists are analyzed. It provides the base for the future development of the mini-cold storage.The simulation calculation using CFD and the experimental test of the airflow distribution are carried out under different supplying air models in mini-cold storage. The results show that it has a steadier velocity and temperature field in the jacketed supply air model. It also shows that the tested vegetables have the least weight loss in the jacketed through the storing experiments in mini-cold storage with different supplying air models. The model of calculating the pre-cooling time of the quasi-sphere fruits is set up under the forced-air convection pre-cooling. The experimental results indicate that there is a best performance of the refrigerating unit when the velocity is about 1.1m/s.The frosting on the surface of the cooled fan is analyzed under the intermittent running condition in mini-cold storage. According to the analysis of frosting kinetics, the factors affecting frosting are discussed, and the one-dimension frosting model is set up. The frosting experiments are carried out under the intermittent running condition, and the corresponding equation is fitted based on experimental data. At last the lectotype of refrigerating unit is discussed including the cooling load, the heat transferring area and the compressor power about different volume mini-cold storage.
