The dissertation studies the evaluation methods and analysis theory of the shot effectiveness suitable for manifold weapon systems. The first chapter focuses on the probability distributions of the time to kill a target and the kill probabilities when a weapon system fires the target In the second chapter, the influences, by the factors of flight time of projectiles and the number of projectiles, to the distribution of the time to kill the target and the kill probability are considered. The third chapter researches into the winning probabilities for the opposite two weapon systems in a one-to-one combat. In the fourth chapter, the winning probabilities for the many-to-one combat are canvassed. In the fifth chapter, the article, combined with the new situation in the local war of the world today, discusses the winning probabilities in a guerrilla duel between an attacker side and a guerrilla side or terrorist side. The sixth chapter studies the optimum shot strategy in a duel.
