By analysis of the defect of nowaday simulation and optimization method oflong-distance complex water conveyance systems, based on the forepassedachievements, this paper applies the structural drawing oriented simulation method tothe simulation optimization of long-distance complex water conveyance systems,founds the theory and method of structural drawing oriented simulation, andintroduces the self-optimization model on the MATLAB system simulation platform,studies to found a digital simulation optimization model for long-distance complexwater conveyance systems. The main research achievements are listed as follows: Firstly, the theory and method of structural drawing oriented simulation forlong-distance complex water conveyance systems is founded in this paper. Thismethod sets up the structural drawing oriented simulation models of diversifiedpotential taches in long-distance complex water conveyance systems. Systemsimulation models can be founded through joining the structural drawing modelswhile simulating. With the simulation method, the digital simulation can be greatlysimplified, the modularization and reusability of simulation programs can be evidentlyimproved, and the efficiency and veracity of simulation modeling can be obviouslyadvanced. Secondly, the visual simulation method in numeric simulation of long-distancecomplex water conveyance systems is presented in this paper. Based on the structuraldrawing oriented simulation method, visual simulation modeling and simulationcomputing are advanced in the simulation of long-distance complex water conveyancesystems, this simplifies the simulation modeling, and makes the simulatingnaturalness and intuition. Thirdly, the theory and method of simulation optimization on theself-optimization model of long-distance complex water conveyance systems isfounded in this paper. This method embeds a online discerning tache which candiscern, judge and modify automatically in the routine simulation models, modifiesthe decision input according to the feedback information of system simulation output,and makes the system optimize automatically on the simulation. Fourthly, the verification and validation (V&V) of modeling and simulating(M&S) of long-distance complex water conveyance systems on the simulatingvisualization is presented in this paper. Based on the structural drawing orientedsimulation method, through verifying dividually and validating visually, the V&V ofM&S of long-distance complex water conveyance systems can be realized easier. Lastly, MATLAB simulation platform is applied to the visual dynamic simulationof long-distance complex water conveyance systems. This paper founds thesimulation models of diversified potential taches in water conveyance systems and aintegrative simulation platform which includes simulation modeling, experimentingand result analyzing. By the simulation instance, the validity of the simulationplatform has been proved. Meanwhile, the visual dynamic simulation andoptimization of Zhangjiuhe long-distance water conveyance system in Kunming havebeen realized on the platform.
