With the development of navigation and autoimmunization, the integrated navigation holding various navigation sensor modules comes into being a multi-sensor navigation system. Information fusion provides an effective way to multi-sensor data processing problem. The accuracy and the reliability of a integrated navigation system have been improved by effectively using the multi-sensor information fusion, and the theory of fusion has been a quite hot research topic in the domain of integrated navigation in the world.This paper discusses the research progress and current state of information fusion technology for integrated navigation system. Combined with optimal estimation theory and signal processing theory, the paper focuses on researching deeply into the theory of modeling sensor noise, sensor failure detecting, Kalman filter based on multiply model, as well as the application technology in integrated navigation system.The paper supports various navigation sensor error equations, and develops the INS/DS integrated navigation error module basing on the Bei Dou satellites navigation positioning system which our country has made. The scheme on integrated navigation system provides an effect way implementing high accuracy navigation.The paper introduces the theory of wavelet transform, and applies it to the analysis of navigation sensor noise. Mathematical simulation is introduced that the effectiveness of this method filters out sensor noise. To support various applications, the multi-model Kalman filters for integrated inertial navigation system and multiply adaptive filter system are presented. Simulation illustrated that the algorithms multiple module estimation and interacting multiple model estimation can achieve stronger adaptability and higher accuracy than one of the single model in practice.
