Research On Tall Building In Japan

Since the reform and opening up policy was implemented, the Tall building construction in China had advanced by leaps and bounds in last 20 years of end of 20 centuries and is entering a period of important development. With the scale of the building and the speed of the construction having exceeded any other nation in the world, China has developed into a big power in the world in building the high-rise buildings nowadays. In the near future, along with the rises in economic construction, Asia has become one of the hottest region in terms of Tall building construction.In such case, in order to meet the demand of architectural growth, this thesis carries on the research to Japan where there are the most powerful Techniques on the foundation of on-the-spot investigation. With a great deal of systemic and all-sided research, we hope that it can provide some inspirations and references for the design of high-rise buildings in our country by the research .This thesis mainly carries on the analytical research into the Tall building in Japan from the following five aspects:1. Sum up the historical course and the developmental status quo of the Japanese Tall building.2. Analyze the evolvement in the constitution of the internal space and its characters.3. Carry on the research on the another side by the discussion of the related technical realm for the Japanese Tall building.4. Discuss the relation between the Japanese Tall building and some kinds of environment such as the city view environment ,the city space environment and the city physical environment, and the characteristics of them.5. Sum up the development trend of the Japanese Tall buildings.At the end of this thesis, besides the evaluation and summaries ofthe design method and the creation idea, this thesis also carries on some brief comparisons between the Tall buildings in China and Japan, dissertates the architectural development trend in the high density city environment nowadays and points out the difference between the two countries in the time and the conception of value in design and construction.
