Depending on the design of drive axle's comprehensive performance testing bench project for several domestic famous enterprises, the artificial immune system is used on vehicle online testing. Two vehicle online testing models are set up. According to the different requests of the two models, two vehicle online testing algorithms are presented based on wavelet and immune mechanism. The algorithms are real-time, higher correct, more intelligent and robust. The algorithms have some unique features different from other algorithms. The algorithms are used in drive axle online testing to decide whether the drive axles have faults. The engineering application shows that the algorithms have higher practicability. There are seven chapters in the dissertation.In chapter 1, the dissertation introduces the significance of the project firstly. The current development situation of vehicle testing in domestic and international countries is introduced. The developing conditions of artificial immune system and the background of their research work are also proposed briefly. Finally in the chapter, the dissertation contents and chapters arrangement are given.In chapter 2, the dissertation introduces some basic theories of wavelet, and disscusses the basic principle of selection criterion based on the best wavelet package. A new denoise method using modulus maximum based on best wavelet package is adopted. The dissertation also puts forward the feature extraction methods using wavelet or wavelet package according to the feature of studied signal. The methods are used in the following chapters.In chapter 3, some basic conceptions of the human being immune system and the working mechanics of the immune system are introduced briefly. Comparisons between artificial immune system and artificial nerve network are given. According to several important artificial immune system models, a general artificial immune system model frame is built. A general immune algorithm's implementation procedures are extracted from several important immune algorithms. Analyzed the artificial immune system's application potentiality in vehicle online testing, the artificial immune system theory is used to build two kinds of models of vehicle online testing. The dissertation presents several common faults in vehicle online testing.In chapter 4, negative selection mechanics in immune system and negative selection algorithm are studied. An advanced negative selection algorithm adapted to the engineer needs in vehicle online testing is presented. In order to verify the algorithm's effectiveness, the algorithm is used in the differential mechanism testing. In the algorithm, the data of different work conditions compose the self-antibody space. Several kinds of faults of differential mechanism are tested. Compared with the results of RBF method, the advanced negative selection algorithm has faster speed, higher correctness and robustness.In chapter 5, illumined by the mechanics of body resisting antigen and self immune...
