This dissertation deals mainly with the target state estimation theory and application technologies in close-in air-defense and antimissile system. By analyzed national-defense value of the close-in air-defense and antimissile system and the characteristics and difficulty in anti close-in targets, it is illuminated that the distributed weapon system can effectively confront close-in targets. By analyzed the characteristics of distributed fire control system in the close-in air-defense weapon system, the new problems on target estimation is discussed. Then based on a distributed weapon system, the following problems are discussed in this paper:Firstly, the methods of designing the satisfactory opportunity awaiting estimation strategy of target state in a limited target area are investigated. Based on an antiaircraft artillery system and a CCD~- image tracking system with laser range finder, the physics meaning of limited target area is analyzed. By introducing awaiting-time into the performance index set, a solution of satisfactory opportunity awaiting estimation strategy, is proposed by solving a group of BiLinaer Matrix Inequalities (BMIs), under the constraints of area pole index and error variance index.Secondly, the satisfactory bias estimation strategy is investigated in this paper. For antiaircraft artillery weapon system, its shooting precision depends on the stably tracking of the artillery, which needing stably forecasting the future positions of targets. Using lower system model to estimate the state of targets is a method of stable forecasting, which could produce system bias when the target is maneuvering. As steady error coefficient is an important index in measuring system error, it is introduced into the performance index set. A solution of satisfactory biased estimation strategy is proposed by assuming that the maneuver of target is finite, which can ensure the accuracy and stability of the estimation output.Thirdly, based on CCD image tracking system with low repetition frequency laser range finder, an efficient estimation method is given in this paper, which could obviously improve the state estimation precision of target without increasing any hardware cost. That possesses of significant engineering meaning and economic value.Finally, the multi-sensor asynchronous data fusion algorithm is investigated in this paper. A fusion model is proposed, which can solve the request of presetting fusion periods for fusion center to synchronize asynchronous data transmited from multi-sensor. The proposed model has good real-time performance and generality. Numerical simulations prove that the proposed algorithm was feasible and effective.
