With the development of country economy, there has been more and more requirements of electrical power energy, and power system capacity is enlarged constantly. Because large-scale power transformers are adopted widely, many requirements for the transformer protection are put forward, for example fast action ability and dependability, at present, Differential relay is the master protection for transformers all along, but it can't distinguish between magnetizing inrush current and internal fault current well and truly, it has puzzled the researcher of power transformer protection in many years ,.at the same time, it is a foreland problem of power system study. In order to solve the problem, we should understand ulteriorly the internal fault mechanism of transformer and establish the accurate model of internal fault of transformer. It is essential to improve the performance of transformer protection. Based on the internal fault model and exact characteristic parameter, it is possible to bring forward the new principle of transformer protection.Based on the electromagnetic inductive theory, the paper founds the magnetizing inrush current and internal fault simulation model, and constitutes the new protection arithmetic using the Support Vector machine also .The paper mainly following six parts:1 .The paper make sure the purpose and utility significance of dissertation firstly. and domestic and international relevant respects about magnetization curve models ,normal models ,internal fault models and some protection scheme of transformer at present are analysised and summarized, and then the paper research content is put forward.2. the paper expatiates briefly the basic conception and theorem including the machine study problem express, experience risk minimum, complexity and popularize ability , consistency condition and key theorem, VC dimension, popularize bound , structure risk minimum and nucleus function for statistical learning theory .it is the theory foundation for the latter study. 3.Magnetization curve is very important for the transient simulation of the transformer, the paper study the present magnetization curve of...
