A mixed method was presented, which can conquer the shortcoming of single method. The method was used to analyze the influence that the variety of the design geometrical dimension and the physical parameter of the pile and the soil exert on the performance of the load bearing performance of the super-long and large-diameter bored pile.A new technique of post-injecting grout under the pile tip was brought out to solve the problems which caused by the sedimentation. The effect of the technique was tested by CT detection and core detection. Three methods of static load test and centrifuge test were used to research on the performance of the load bearing performance of the super-long and large-diameter bored piles which were injected grout or not.Base on the analysis to the statistic data of the static load tests on the super-long and large-diameter bored piles, several problems were discussed including how to counting the limited bearing capacity of the pile tip, the deadweight of the pile, the subentry coefficient and the standard of the settlement corresponding to limited bearing capacity. Several pieces of advice were proposed the design code used in bridge project.
