Nowadays two kinds of transmissions are usually used in mild hybrid vehicle (MHV). One is continuously variable transmission (CVT), the other is manual transmission (MT). CVT is expensive and complex while MT is controlled by driver and the advantages of HEV cannot be well realized. If MHV is equipped with automatic manual transmission (AMT) cooperated with integrated Starter/Generator (ISG) better performance will be achieved. In this dissertation, considering characters of AMT theoretical and experimental researches on MHV equipped with AMT are carried out based on Chang'an HEV system. The main work is as following:1. On the foundation of AMT startup dynamic model startup control strategy of MHV equipped with AMT are proposed. With the assistance of ISG motor rotary speed of power source can be kept low and constant during the startup. The quality of the startup is improved.2. Considering all of the performances of engine, ISG motor and state of charge (SOC), power shift rule is put forward based on the vehicle kinetic model. Efficient model of power source is built up according to test data of engine fuel consumption and ISG motor efficiency. Power distributing strategy and economy shift rule are brought out on the condition that vehicle is driven by both engine and motor.3. Relationships of engine drag resistant force, road resistant force, ISG regenerative brake force and battery charge power are analyzed. Control strategy of regenerative brake force and regenerative brake shift rule are proposed.4. Considering characteristics of both AMT shift and MHV advanced shift control strategies, which take advantage of ISG motor and ECT to control engine speed, are proposed. Engine speed is well controlled during shift and speed difference between clutch plates is reduced. As a result the shift quality is improved.5. Test rig of MHV equipped with AMT is built. Control system is developed by using Matlab/Simulink software and dSPACE real time workshop. Tests of startup, power shift rule, regenerative brake and shift quality are carried out.In this dissertation theory, Simulation and testing of MHV equipped with AMT are studied in detail. Testing results are well consistent with theory and simulation analysises. And it provides theoretical and experimental foundation for MHV to equip AMT.
