Deep dielectric charging is suspected the cause of anomalies and malfunctions of China's satellites of DSP(Double Satellites Project )—TC-2 and TC-1 in July and August , 2004.In section one, the mechanisms and the processes of spacecraft supercharging & discharging and some international experiments were introduced and studied. Space reletivistic electron(E > 100keV)can penetrate into spacecraft surface and deposit in the victim. The victim may be an insulator or an ungrounded conductor. The electric field in the victim or between nearby other victim will be buildup when the rate of depositing is larger than the rate of leaking out. A "breakdown" would occur if the electric field strength is larger than that the insulator can sustain. This is a problem on a spacecraft called spacecraft deep dielectric charging. In section two, two programs were created. The first program was created for studying the process of spacecraft supercharging. The second program was created for designing the spacecraft deep charging and discharging monitor aboard the FengYun 4 satellite. In section three, a nevel methodology of spacecraft deep charging and discharging monitor aboard the FengYun 4 satellite was developed. The deep dielectric charging , deep discharging and the effects in the spacecraft inner space and cables were detected by the monitoring device.
