The heat pump has great advantage as an energy saving technique in protect environment and save energy, because it can produce more energy than its running power. The heat pump has been used in air conditioning area very well, and has produced good effect in sociality and economics. The hot water is heated by difference boilers such as oil boiler,coal boiler and electric boiler in present. It is not an efficient way of using energy that heat low temperature hot water by using high grad energy source. This study is looking for a heat pump system and device that can dual-use as air conditioning and heating hot water efficiently. Due to normal heat pump is not efficiently in heating water at big temperature difference condition. It is very necessary to study a heat pump system that can heat water in big temperature rise efficiently.This study is looking for new HFCs critical heat pumps that can supply high temperature hot water and air conditioning dual-use. It includes the contents as follow.The cost and efficiency of the heat pump are presented if it wants to compare the oil or coal boiler in present condition, through the first energy utilization ratio analysis of the heat pump. The thermodynamic optimum of the heat pump is done. The most suitable cycles are indicated for various application condition of the heat pump through the optimal results.The numerical models of the gas cooler and cycle of the HFCs critical heat pump are installed. And the cycle characters are analysis through numerical results. The calculation contents include the choice of cycle parameters, the optimum of characters, the running specialty, and thermodynamic properties in various work conditions and different refrigerants. A HFC125 critical heat pump experimental device is installed. The experiments are done. The relationships of the parameters and its effects to performance of the cycle are studied. The control characters, adjustment characters, operating characters, and the effects of the recovery heater of the device are studied too.A normal HCFC22 heat pump system which can recover the condensing heat to supply hot water is installed for studying air conditioning and heating hot water dual-use character. The heating hot water ways in summer and winter are experimental studied. The operating characters of the heat pump in supplying living hot water in various conditions are studied too.Based on the experimental and theoretical results, some propositions for further research have been made.
