Networked manufacturing drived by the requirements of the quick reorganization of manufacturing resource and the global sharing is a new production model which ia adapt to the global manufacturing development trend and develops the useful, discard the useless of traditional manufacturing model and then innovates it. By using the networked manufacturing, the manufacturing resources can be integrated into large-scalepre dominance, the collaboration between enterprises and between production and design can be promoted, production and selling can be cooperated, resource, sale and providing net can be shared more in time and efficiently and then the whole competition ability will be advanced. This thesis provides an Application Service Provider based on networked manufacturing resource sharing method in the network economy environment. The research works have been done as follows:The grid theory based ASP More-for-More service model is built up. Firstly, the ASP More-for-More service model of networked manufacturing ASP platform is analyzed, which makes more than one distributing ASP service nodes deal with the manufacturing application service of client, and then the service ability is improved and the stress of bandwidth of network is eased. The business flow of networked manufacturing ASP platform is analyzed according to the different roles. Then, the function of ASP platform is designed and analyzed in details which conclude management and professional service function, and the hierarchical structure of this platform is introduced simply. Finaly, the five layer grid based architecture is presented for networked manufacturing ASP platform which provided the instruction for the implementation of ASP platform.The manufacturing resource model method oriented to networked manufacturing ASP platform is presented. Firstly, the basic theory and method are established. This resource model method consists of model abstract, model division, model consistency operation, model standardization, and so on. The global model is formed to comply with networked manufacturing idea, and it shows the dynamic characteristic in network environment and the expense characteristic of resource employment relationship based on ASP. Secondly, according to this method, the model structure of manufacturing resource is defined and the characteristic attributes of varied resources are abstracted. Thirdly, the XML language can be used to define the the attribute elements so as to form the XML based resource describing document. Finally, a case of machine resource is presented to validate the feasibility.The resource organization and index model is put forward which combines distributing characteristic with centrality characteristic. After analyzing the problem of resource organization and index, a layered discovery model is presented. It concluded the distributing route and centrality search. The k-d tree algorithm is adopted to discovery resources in the centrality layer. Its theory and realization are analyzed. And then, the similarity based on more characteristic attribute matching of resource is put forward and the calculating model of local characteristic attribute is founded. Besides, global similarity is merged through latest bordering method and it output a satisfying subset for the client. Finally, a case of machine resource is presented to validate the feasibility.A resource constraint based workflow scheduling method is presented for the ASP platform. Firstly, the scheduling architecture is given and the business flow in this architecture is investigated. Secondly, based on the whole scheduling structure, the mathematics model aimed at the problems of workflow optimization and scheduling is built up, which concludes two objectives, time and cost, and an assistant objectives, balance. The improved GA algorithm is adopted to solve the NP hard problem. Finally, feasibility and practicability of the proposed method were verified by a case.Lastly, a prototype system named NMP-ASP (Networked Menufacturing Platform for ASP) is developed based on the kernel techniques mentioned above. Firstly, the whole design, function modules, etc. are introduced. Secondly, resource management module, resource discovery module and workflow management module are analyzed in detail. Finally, feasibility and practicability of the proposed model were verified by the development and preliminary application of prototype system.
