The secondly structure. hydrophobictty, hydrophilicitv, coil regions and solvent accessibility were analyzed by use of antheprot software to predict the antigen locus and epitopes of human follicular inhibin Q -subunit. The results demonstrated that the epitopes of inhibin were probably at or adjacent to amino acid serial 1-32 and 64-82 of its N-terminal, suggesting that there are some pro in the N terminal. The epitopes of human follicular inhtbin antigen were possibly localized in amino acid serial 1-32 and 63-82 of its N-terminal Eight laying hens were actively immunized with synthetic human inhibin peptide fragment (hIHN(l-26)Tyr.Gly)Conjugatcd to either keyhole limpet hemocyanin(KLH,n=8)or saline alone(n= 12). The serum level of FSH can be indirectly increased through passive immunization against follicle inhibin. lmmaturedd mouses , rats and castrated ranis were immunized against follicle inhibin.The serum level of FSH,E2 and the weight of the uterus and ovaries were measured to confirm the bioactivity of the anti-inhibin antibody.Thc result indicated that once injection of the antibody could significantly increase the uterus and ovaries weight of the rats and mouses. The serum level of FSH and the E2 were significantly higher than that of the control group.The experiment of the castrated rams showed that bovine follicle inhibin could inhibit the FSH level, but the antibody could neutralize it.The results proved the anti-inhibin antibody have the neutralization activity. Forty cows were passively immunized against tnhtbn The results showed that passive immunization against tnhibin could induce cow estrous in two-five days. The rate of synchronized estrous could arrived at 90% companied with PG.The dual-ovulation rate of group I and group 2 was hher than that of contral afler the rectum inspection at day 8-l2(33.3%,66.7~/o). These result 86 suggested companied with PG could sigrncantly increased the ovulation rate. The serum level of FSI-I, E2, IGF-l, was higher than the control, ho~vever not significant So we can concluded that the passive immunization against inhibin could shorten the interval the laying,increase the ovulating rate with high safety In given primarily culture condition in ~itro, the method of immunoncutralization the autocrrne inhtbin through adding the anti-tnhtbin antibody was used.
