The development of agriculture depends on the increasing agricultural productivity ,and the progress of productivity is driven by science and technology. The transformation of advance academic technology to practical technology usually needs four phases: basic research ,applied research, developing research and generalizing research , besides, a proving ground to be used to execute or test these process. With the Chinese conventional agriculture changing to intensive agriculture , the modern agricultural yards Just as the proving ground , come forth . It will not only be an important approach to improve agricultural comprehensive productivity but also indicate the progression of Chinese intensive agriculture. Study on the modern agriculture yard now focus mainly on the infrastructure , developing planning of yard and agronomy technology. There have been a few professional information systems such as soil fertilization management information system etc. These are not enough , however, for the development of modern agriculture yard . The modern agriculture yard management information system that integrated GIS,GPS ,RS, Web will be one of the best ways that spreads out its advance technology or management experience and will play an important role in taking the lead Chinese modernizing agriculture. For the sake , this study constructed the modern agriculture yard management information system(MAYMIS) involving GIS,GPS, RS, Web technology. In addition, the study on rice multi-component bi-directional reflectance model which may be used in rice growth situation monitoring also was the main contents of this article and a part of the MAYMIS . In this way, MAYMIS can not only manage the information about agricultural yard but also serve for the windows that displays the research achievement consequently, MAYMIS can direct the construction of yard and assist the manager of yard decision making. The main contents of the study are as follows: (1) The system analysis and overall design of MAYMISAccording to the characteristics of MAYMIS , following the software engineering theory and using component object technology, the MAYMIS was established based on analysis of system function and requirement. MAYMIS consisted of spatial database management subsystem ,text database management subsystem, crop growth condition monitoring subsystem , evaluation and decision making subsystem and practical technology demonstrating module.(D The spatial database included all spatial and attribute data corresponding the agricultural yard . Spatial database management subsystem was programmed using VB and MapObject, one of component GIS made by ESRI company in America. Users can view , inquire these data in various forms such as clicking a patch or point of a map showed in screen to attain its attribution or from some properties known of a place to find its location . In addition , the subsystem can do statistics and print necessary information.(2) The text database management subsystem was designed using Web technology and programmed in VB language . Through the subsystem, users can obtain timely, expediently all-sided information what they needed about yard in internet .The manager of yard and users can communicate each other. Moreover, the practical technology demonstrating module can teach users the advance technology and experience of yard in multi-media .(3) The evaluation and decision making subsystem provided users with some appraising indexes to be selected as evaluating factors, and then the subsystem can direct user to decide the weight of each evaluation factor based on Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). The method of weighted aggregative index number was used in calculation of the final appraise result from measured data and the weight gained above. Furthermore, the method of landscape ecological evaluation for land sustainable use in modern agriculture yard and the principle that the yard should follow in its building and development was explored theoretic...
