Cymbidium hybridum was a group of new breed strain by bio- technique,and there were many cuitivars which are in colorful flower and long period florescence.1. Studied on water deficiency index of CymbidiumChange of water physiology of Cymbidium hybridum grown in different media were studied. And the media water content(MWC), leaves water content(LWC) and water potential(WP), as well as stoma conductance(SC), transpiration rate(TR), chlorophyll content(CC) of Leaves and superoxide dismitase(SOD) catalase activities(CAT), peroxidase (POD), relative permeability(RP) were tested. The results shown that shagnum(SP) medium had higher water holding capacity than panut hull mixed with sand.The critical MWC were about 15.86%~12.32% in SP media, and 16.42%~12.29% in PH/S-media. The critical WP of Cymbidium were about -1.39 to -1.42 (MPa) . The critical LWC were about 87.41%~ 80.3 l%.The change of CC slowly response to water deficiency, for which, changed slowly than that of WP and LWC. The RP increased rapidly during the end of the water treatment.The change of the activities of SOD, CAT, POD,and the content of MDA and PRO were so complicated that could not be the practical index of water deficiency. The LWC and LWP were the practical parameter to determine water deficiency of Cymbidium hybridum.Leaves of Cymbidium hybridum were treated with SA and 6-BA on water Deficiency. Results showed that application of SA witrun the concentration of 0.5~4.5mmol/L improved the IAA content in sprout, and 6-BA within the concentration of 2.5~4.5mmol/L improved the IAA content too. SA within 0.5 ~ 2.5mmol/L improved ZR content and 6-BA within 2.5-1.5mmol/L also improved ZR content. All SA and 6-BA winthin 0.5~4.5 mmol/L restrained ABA content. SA within 0.5~4.5 mmol/L and 6-BA winthin 2.5-4.5 mmol/L improve the activity of SOD and CAT, lowered MDA content. SA within 2.5~4.5 mmol/L improved net photosynthetic rate and water using efficiency. The 6-BA within 2.5mmol/L had the effect of increasing water using efficiency.'It made use of L16(8X24)Factors and levels of orthogonal design to investigate the propagating of Cymbidium hybridum. The result shown that the PLB induce rate in caudex tip culture was higher in H-medium in which reducing the mineral content result the higher PLB rate and decreasing the hydroxybenzene harm to death rate. The results also shown that the PLB PLB induce rate was higher by which the caudex tip was slited than that transversed ,and the PLB induce rate was higher by putting the cultured material deep into media than that in the surface of medium. Sliced up the culture material in 4mm had the higher PLB induce rate than 2mm slice.In the caudex tip culture , l/4MS-medium + 20g/L sucrose+200g/L banana juice +8g/L agaragar +2.5mg/L 6-BA+0.lmg/L NAA+4g/L active carbon, had the highest PLB induce rate of 96.7% that can controlling the hydroxybenzene contaminating effectively. The experiment of caudex segment culture of Cymbidium shown thatl/4MS+6-BA2.5(mg/L)+NAA0.1(mg/L)+BJ200 (g/L) + sucrose 20 (g/L) +agaragar 8 (g/L) , added hyposulphite(HY) 1.5(mg/L) , and Penicillin(PN) can controlled the hydroxybenzene contaminating effectively. The results reached the significance level (5%) .respectively. 70(g/L) Penicillin can controlled the contaminated in medium in transfer culture.The optimized fertilization of Cymbiduim was carried out by saturated design of N,P,K. The result shown that the leaves growth rate (LGR) was the largest with treating of N-P205-K2O500-340-200 (mg/L) , and regress equation between LGRand N-P-K was : Y1=209.664+9.170xr0.216x2+ 3.138x3-6.382,2 -14.752x22 -2.297x32 + 1.352X1X2 + 1.718x1x3 + 1.952x2x3, the regress equation was significantly. The regress equation of single factor of N P and K was : YN=13.68x2 +44.813x+121.521, YP2O5=0.975 x2+3.847x+121.521, YK2O=0.55 x2+8.054 x +121.521 The higher chlorophyll content was the treatment of N-P2O5-K2O=453.16-453.16- 400mg/L, the regress equation was Y3, =28.064+ 1.699x1+0.04x2+0.61x3 + 0.59xI2-0.889x22+1.846...
